Slate Creek Elementary School

in K-12 education

Slate Creek was one of twelve major construction projects funded by a $28.3 million bond referendum.  This facility is 53,400 sq. ft. on approximately ten acres and has a capacity of 450 students and more than 50 staff members.  One feature of this facility is the dedicated gym that opens into a multipurpose commons/lunchroom.  A serving kitchen and office serve the facility as a component of the district's satellite food service.

"The architects at Pettit Bullinger Associates (PBA) were most supportive during bond campaign activities.  They prepared draft plans to use during the campaign.  They were, as well, on hand to attend meetings to answer questions."
